The meeting of the Twin Bridges Snowmobile Club was held on October 1, 2008.

Club meetings will now be held at member’s homes. Meetings will be the first Friday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m.

Election of Officers were held and are: President, Jerri Duane, Vice President, Arnie Underwood, Treasurer, Paul Jebbett, Secretary, Lyn Furlin, Membership, Clare Heider, Trail Coordinator, George Duane, Asst. Trail Coordinator, Steve Furlin, BOD, Steve Furlin, Dave Heider, Tommy Poole and Pam Underwood.

Dan Horn participated at the NYSSA seminar, during the Big East Snowmobile Show, on using the GPS and a computer to do trail mileage. Our trails were used as the example on how it can be done.

Trail cleaning will be only done in state land at this time due to turkey hunting.

Any member interested in the guidelines for trail signing designated by OPRHP is welcome to attend a seminar on Wednesday, October 15^th starting at 6:30 at the Cortlandville Fire Station.

Plans for the club for this season are to hold a hot dog roast on the trail, participate in other county club functions and Furlin’s yearly ‘Ripper Ride.” (It’s not as scary as it soundsJ) Details will be available as plans progress.

It’s time to renew your membership. $25.00 for single or family memberships. Give Clare Heider a call at 836-6349 or print a membership form from the web site and mail it to her at 4510 Sportsman Club Road, Solon NY 13040.

The next meeting is November 1, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at Steve and Lyn Furlin’s. A bonfire is planned. For further information call the Furlin’s at 836-6781.
